President Bian Zhenjia attended the meeting and delivered a speech. President Bian noted that industry associations are of great significance in promoting the social co-governance of food safety, enhancing the self-discipline and regulation of the industry, and helping the development and progress of the industry. He added that the Zhejiang Health and Beauty Industry Association should closely follow policies formulated by the Party and the government to help enterprises develop; strengthen industry self-discipline and promote the healthy development of the industry; carry out publicity, education, and science popularization to promote the concept of reasonable consumption and to better serve consumers.
