The CNHFA Responded to the Disciplinary Actions for the Construction of the Industry’s Credit System Carried Out by the China Consumers Association

   On March 15th, the China Consumers Association held the 2019 “Credit, the Guardian of Consumers” Consumer Rights Protection Themed Event in Beijing, in order to better protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, enhance information transparency, boost consumption capacity, and further consolidate consumption as a foundation of the economy. As a representative of industry organizations, the China Nutrition and Health Food Association proposed active initiatives in the “The Show of Disciplinary Actions for the Construction of the Industry’s Credit System”.
  
  Liu Xuecong, secretary general of the CNHFA, said that China's health food and food industry has been through many ups and downs for more than 20 years, making positive and important contributions to national economic construction and national health. He pointed out that some unscrupulous companies eliminated honest enterprises by exaggerated or false advertising and illegal marketing, infringing the interests of consumers and damaging the overall image of the industry. He noted, “China's health food industry must draw a lesson from a bitter experience, display its courage and boldness, and use high-quality products and honest production and operation to win the recognition of consumers.” As a national industry organization, the CNHFA will shoulder the important responsibility of the integrity construction of health food enterprises, carry out the 2019 China Health Food Industry Promotion Plan, strengthen the self-discipline and self-discipline conventions of the industry market entities, and establish and improve the mechanisms for credit evaluation, incentives and discipline in the industry to promote corporate integrity operation, create a safe and secure health food consumption environment, and build a solid foundation for the health food industry.
