Policies, regulations and standards are the crucial basis that ensures food safety, and determines the development of the industry, and they are also the bottom line and requirements that the food industry must follow. Over the past 40 years of China's reform and opening-up, the achievements made in the development of China’s food industry have contributed to the improvement of relevant laws and regulations in the industry. Professional managers have played a vital role in optimizing policies and regulations and ensuring food safety as they have influenced, been involved in, and implemented the regulations.
At this point, China’s special diet is undergoing rapid development and transformation. We are witnessing plenty of opportunities as well as challenges and problems. A lot of work remains to be done. The committee is established at the right time and will make great contributions. It is hoped that the committee can stick to the purpose of sustaining the development of the food industry and the association, fully aware of the growing trend of the industry, lead the direction in which the industry is to develop, build consensus on the development, and seek common development.
