The China Nutrition and Health Food Association Successfully Recommended Patent Projects for the 20th China Patent Award

  The State Intellectual Property Administration issued the "Notice on the Selection of the 20th China Patent Award" (Letter No. 38, 2018) to carry out the selection of the 20th China Patent Award. As an award-recommending unit, the China Nutrition and Health Food Association issued a notice on April 25, 2018 and conducted a selection within the member units.
  
  After self-recommendation, expert review, association recommendation, committee evaluation, and the “Chinese Medicine Preparation for Treating Menopausal Syndrome” project filed by Jiankangyuan Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., the standing director unit of the CNHFA, and the “Method for Testing the Species of Horses and Pelicans in Gum-like Chinese Medicines and Their Products” project filed by Dongya Ejiao Co., Ltd., the member unit of the CNHFA, won the 20th China Patent Excellence Award. Here, the CNHFA would like to congratulate these two units. In 2019, the CNHFA will continue to recommend the relevant patent projects, and appeal for active participation from all member units.
  
The China Patent Award was established by the State Intellectual Property Administration in 1989 and has been held for 20 sessions. It is the only government department award in China that rewards patented inventions. It is recognized by the United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This award consists of the China Patent Gold Award and the China Patent Excellence Award, the China Design Gold Award and the China Design Excellence Award. The award criteria not only emphasize the patent technology level and innovation level of a project, but also pay attention to its application in the market transformation process, and also put forward requirements for its protection and management.
