Talks on the Four Novelties - Expert Seminar on Lactoferrin Testing Methods

As part of the “Talks on the Four Novelties” series, the CNHFA held an expert seminar on lactoferrin testing methods on 21 June in Beijing.


The meeting featured prominent researchers, including Xiao Jing and Li Yuzhe from the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment, Ma Yingqing from the Shanghai Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Centre, Lin Yikan from the Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research, Lin Li from the Beijing Food Inspection and Research Institute, Jin Shaoming from the China Academy of Food and Drug Testing and Certification, and Lv Ning from the Qingdao Customs Technology Centre. Representatives of the drafting unit of the national standard for lactoferrin provided insights into the background, history, and principles of the standard. Enterprise representatives discussed the differences between the standard methods for lactoferrin detection in food and the methods developed by their companies, along with related issues. The seminar was conducted both online and offline and was hosted by Li Liangqiu, Executive Vice President of the CNHFA.


In the future, the CNHFA will continue to organise conferences to explore professional topics of interest to the industry.
